Farta a mesa.
Raras bebidas e caras também.
Muita comida: carnes, castanha, peru
Algumas, o nome nem sei.
Tudo alegria, mesmo com a fome
Mas em outro lugar.

Com tanta iguaria,
Afoguei-me em champanhe
Do Natal, nem lembrei.
Coisa mesquinha.
Desculpem meu lapso.
Desse dia, talvez falarei.

Ausente o dinheiro, também o barulho
Porém grande festa, de todas as cores
